planning to replace my liftgate garnish panel (door handle chrome) to black one like the nightshade edition, somebody knows what the part no. for the handle please?! looking for similar on the photo here

I would like to do this for my limited as well. I’m assuming the night shade version has the Toyota emblem and letters already painted black ? For now I did the plastic dip and seems to be holding up well.

I did something a little different to standout from all the rest. Color matched the chrome to BP and then used black overlays.

FYI I hear that panel is a PIA to remove.

I just put on new SCS SR8's (-10mm) and falken a/t3w 265/70/17 stock height. I love the look with this offset, makes them stick out just enough. However, i did have significant rubbing both directions forward and reverse on fender liner and mudflap tab, for anyone looking to do the same.

Got Daystar 2.5in leveling kit a week later, and still had the rubbing both ways, but only on the mudflap plastic tab (Tried to explain the caster I wanted to the alignment guy, but he just wasn't getting it). Removed the front mudflaps, and she rides and sits perfectly now.

Now the good part. Here's some comparison pics.

(Can someone give me the easiest way to resize images for this? I assume that's why it's not working. Then I will post them. Thanks)

simple, just remove the limited rocker panels and replace them with the SR5/TE/TRD ones. this way it opens up many options for running boards, steps or sliders. this will also make the sides look higher

Which part numbers do we need for the rocker switch?

This is our Toytec Boss Aluma series with SPC ucas. Its the stock night shade wheels with some larger nitto ridge grapplers!

Knocked out a Coastal Offroad bumper, Bilsten 5100s with SPC uppers and a set of Fuel Kicker 6 on 285s for the daily.

Did you do anything to protect the buttons when you sprayed the tailgate garnish? Or did just spray right over them?

I cut some blue tape with same shape as the up/down buttons. before removing the blue tape, I used a blade to cut around the edges of the up/down buttons.

You could go the route I took, body color matched the chrome and did overlays on the letters.

Did you have a body shop do the color matching, or found a cheaper route? I debadged it and took all the letters off but would love to find a way to color match it without a body shop charging a few hundred to do it.

I did it myself with spray can factory color. Base coat, pearl coat and clear coat (3 cans). Not perfect but only I notice it. I put tape over buttons then cut out with razor blade. Used the stick on black overlays.

Thanks to all the inspiration in this thread I went ahead with a 3/2 Dobinson with UCA setup on my MGM. Looks better than I even expected - I think I even like it better than the Pros I’ve been jealous of in the past
