Just trim the rocker, it looks so much better in my opinion. Recently trimmed mine in preparation for rock sliders to arrive.

I used 2018 SR5 OEM rocker panels opposed to cutting and then replaced the rear flares on doors with SR5 OEM flares that were paint matched...

I attempted a search but couldn't come up with any results. And, this will apply to more than just the Limited, but since I have a Limited, I'm asking here.
Is there a mod yet to run the fogs independently of the headlights to be used by themselves and/or while the high beams are on (aside from rewiring them with their own switch)?

For those of you who have upgraded the suspension (XREAS delete), did you happen to notice if the front coils are different on the left and right side? I haven't taken the wheels off my '15 4RL but when I look at the left front coil, I see eight turns of the coil and only six turns of the coil on the right side. When I research the part numbers of the coils, none of the sites show an actual picture of the part (just a drawing of the part) so I can't tell if I'm seeing eight on the driver's side because my shock is shot (it's leaking and probably near empty) and therefore compressed or if it's legitimately a more aggressive coil than the right side.
The left coil costs about $40 more than the right, which makes me think the left one is beefier than the right side. The aftermarket struts I'm looking at appear to have the same spring for both left and right.

Yes, you're correct and it's due to the increased load on the driver's side. For aftermarket they compensate with either a spacer on the driver's side or different height settings like with Bilstein 6112's they do a 7/5 circlip setting.
Does anyone make a plastic slimline bumper for the early 5th Gen's (I have a 2012 Limited)? I would love something like the C4 Fab or 4x4 labs full length, just in plastic. My off roading these days consists of the very occasional forest service roads and beach driving. I would like a little more approach angle for the beach when the sand gets a little soft, the extra room for a little larger tire would be nice too. I would just get a metal bumper but I would just have no use for it, it's not like I'm going trail bashing or rock crawling. I would rather save the money for other add-ons.

How much travel do you get from the Baja Kits 2" kit? Hit the fenders badly?

I get full travel with stock fenders at the moment. It has about a quarter inch of space when in full compression between the tire and the fender. Regardless I’m getting the fiberglass fenders painted as we speak. It is kind of an anomaly in regards to it being a limited and a 4Runner with the set up but I’ve had a lot of fun adding and subtracting from it. It also gives me something to spend money on and learn everything. It started with mid travel icon stuff when I didn’t really have a direction for it and just wanted it to not look like a limited. I plan on adding a secondary shock up front and maybe doing something kind of crazy with the rear shock mounting position later this year but we’ll see. It’s more of a time constraint issue with doing everything I want to it at this point.

I'd also suggest getting spindle gussets. The spindles are forged steel, so they won't just snap, but they'll bend on bigger hits. Do you have some progressive bumpstops up front?
For the rear, there are some good 3 link kits out there that pull impressive travel. Need extended brake lines and I'd recommend running limit straps (all around really with the $$ shocks).

I got the Baja kit 2” at a steal from some guy that happened to be in my area and took them off his truck to sell it. He sat on them for awhile and sold the complete axles as well for around 1.5. I plan on going wider I just need to find the right one and I’ve been putting the back together for some time now so it’s been on the back burner. I’m always all for more travel but like I said, it was hard to pass that deal up considering the extensions without the complete setup cost around 700. Dirt kings customer service is amazing though i was in a jam with the tie rod extensions and they had them to me the next day. haven’t really gotten into the links yet because I really don’t know what exactly would change or how it changes anything and how much more travel that would get me. Any input is completely welcome on that. I don’t know anything about bump stops up front either! I need to gusset everything and I want to get motor mount gussets but im having a hard time finding them. The hardest part of this whole build has been finding info for this kind of build. I am in constant email threads with manufacturers but even they have a hard time with it sometimes. Accutune has also been a huge help in that regard. I have the straps for the front I just haven’t had time to take them to get welded and would like to have all that together for when I take it.
