Cartrimhome seems to have added a limited version of the TRD Pro Heritage grill btw! I just ordered it and will report whether or not it its a direct fit now.

Got some 285 firestone destinations since I’m mainly doing highway now. So damn quiet and comfortable on the highway compared to my old falken wildpeaks!!

New wheels and rubber! 17 inch FN Six Shooters and 265/70r17 BFG Trail Terrains.

Loving the new stance of the wheels and mall crawler sidewalls of the Trail Terrains.

This is the first 4Runner that I think looks good with a forward rake. Loving the wheels and gives me ideas for my Mag Grey runner too.

The limited bumper grill bar is much thinner than other models and the double sided tape does not make contact on the bottom at all. This is why a lot of them end up loosing it on the highway or the car wash!

Did you have to do any trimming to get the 285s in? Any suspension work?

I pushed my fender liner in about an inch. What do you mean by suspension work?

Did you lift it at all? Looks like you did with the 2" spacers

Yes 2" spacers + additional 0.75" in the front from the trd pro suspension so 2.75"F/2.00"R lift

Finally a TRD Pro heritage grill that’s a direct fit on the Limited! No trimming or adding a bunch or double sided tape needed! The entire grill cover makes contact with the limited grill garnish.

Two weeks ago we installed a new set of wheels on my wife’s ‘15 Limited. They are a 20” version of the newer TRD wheels in gloss black with milled edges. The tires are 275/55/20 Nitto Recon Grapplers.

You found a metal FRONT bumper that fits the Limited? Which bumper is it? Trying to find a metal bumper that is ALOT stronger then the plastic factory one. I sware ANYTHING looks at this bumper funny and it gets unclupped, cracked, dented.

All the full width ones should work. Same frame under all that plastic. The hybrid/slimline/covert ones are the ones that don’t work so well. You’d also need to drill holes for the parking sensors if you go full width

Picked up this paint damage on my wife’s 17 limited and considering making the change while fixing it.

For those of you that have made the swap - was it worth it? She wants to ditch the limited boards and run a set of Nfabs and so I thought this might be the perfect time.

YEs best thing Ive done to the truck to date. I run 17s for AT, MT and Snows. Its cheaper, you have better choice in brands and frankly I dont like the 20s for much of anything.



You can see it in my sig, old pic missing most of the my mods, but zoom in to see the caps and trim panel and you get the idea.
