That is Niiiiiiiiiiiice! Let us know how it hold up smashing through mud holes. That's how I toasted my first 3 alts. If you don't mind me asking, what electronics are you running that you require such an upgrade? I'm still running stock alt with amplifiers, winch, big boy lights and kids DVD $hit with no problems at all. Lights don't even dim with heavy bass. Might be the Yellow Top? The only alternator conversion I've done was on older cars going to a one wire alt. I do plan on more lights and an extra batt in the future, so a bigger alt may be the way to go.

If you don't mind me asking, what electronics are you running that you require such an upgrade?

Well the OEM one died and just with running my off-road lights alone I max out the OEM amp output (70 amps). I also run a 1500w inverter, a 8500 lbs winch, and tow a travel trailer. The high amp@idle will be great for running the winch and topping up the trailers batteries. There also may be a fridge going in the back too later.

There are some things that just appear to be made so well that they make me want them just for how good they look. For example; Sig-Sauer guns, McIntosh audio equipment, and Jessica Biel.

Went in easy except for the cut finger part (note the blood by the top bolt). It has a different plug on it than OEM but no worries, it came with the adapter for it!

I replaced mine recently with a GM CS144 alternator. Went in just fine with a plug adapter I bought online. Not sure the amps on it, but it is certainly more than the stock one.

It looked a whole lot better in there before I saw yours though!

I had it for a year now and all is good! Not really sure how you review an alternator though. Initially this alt had a charge issue where it wouldn't charge for 10 minutes or so until it warmed up and then it was good so DC Power replaced it and the new one has been great. They were great to deal with too btw.
