California. The guy who built it was from Fresno, CA. He sold it to a guy in Lathrop, CA and that's who I bought it from.

I believe the 22RET was the turbo version, not sure though. Nice find Tim!

Edit: Wikipedia says 22R-TE was the turbo actually..
