If the above advertisement is an actual rigid company advertisement I would email them about royalties on the photo. It is your original work and just because it is on the internet does not mean it's in the common domain for royalty free usage.
They should compensate your appropriately for the image or cease and desist the usage of it.

If its on Facebook or instagram it does mean its common domain, if you ever read the terms of use it basically says you surrender any rights to the photos and that they can do whatever they seem fit with the photos.
That's why so many professional photographers hate those mediums...

Okki, you might want to do some more research on that one buddy. Posting a photo on face book or the other social media sites, is akin to walking in a public area and having your photo taken there. There is no "reasonable expectation of privacy" thus most all is fair game....not all, but most.
