Well SOB :doh: I hit a patch of ice last night and tacod the front bumper on my 97. I havent had a fender bender in over 12 years. This thing makes it 16 years with all of the original body parts on it and I have it a month. I dont think ill have to make a claim. The air bags didnt deploy. The bumper and grill will have to be replaced. Ill have to pull the two cross supports back out straight. That may be the only thing I farm out to the body shop. I think I can straighten the skid plate. There is one little ding on the hood, the paint didnt crack so im not sure if a PDR place can get it out or not? If not, ill be getting a bug shield. Where is the best place to get replacement grills and bumpers? Im going to price stock parts and see how much more ill have to kick in to get a better bumper.

If you buy an ARB bumper you'll get a piece to replace the bent piece in front of the lower radiator (to bolt the skid plate to).

ARB's can be found for around $870 these days. Try autoanything.com and then get 4wheelparts.com to price match. autoanything has free shipping (or used to) but 4wheelparts doesn't, but price matched for me. You might try a few others (google) but that's about the best price I've seen recently.

Also, you'll probably have to trim the front of the frame rails for the ARB so you might wait until you get it so you don't do (or pay for) work you don't need (as in, you might straighten them and then cut them off).

I don't think your hood can be PDR'd since it's pushed back on the leading edge. I'd go with a bug shield.

Looks like ebay has the best prices on bumpers and grills. Not as much money as I was expecting. Are there different brands or are they all pretty much the same? Ill probably go ahead and do the satoshi grill mod when I change all of this stuff out too
