Low Beam issue on 2000 4Runner

They say timing is everything...
Just like "GRNT4R00", I noticed this morning that my low beams were not working. High beams do. Going out to trouble-shoot, following the steps listed here to determine the cause; thank you "IBallEngineer" and "theDurk" for the guidance.
One question I have;
Could this have resulted from jumping the battery on another vehicle? With winter fast approaching us up here in the north, I wanted to get one more drive in with the top down in my little red convertible yesterday, but had to jump the battery to get it started. I'm positive I had low beam lights prior to doing that.
Its cold here today. Not what I wanted to deal with, but it's also getting darker earlier. Hoping its just the headlight relay. I'll let you all know.
Thanks again

I would have never thought it was possible...
I was ready to follow all the steps by the "Kings of resolution"; easy first right? Found that I had power to both low and high beam outlets. Did a little more searching on this forum and noticed several members reported both low beams going out at the same time? Having never owned a vehicle with DRL's I would never have imagined this to be possible. But by golly it was just that. Replaced the bulbs and hooray! LIGHTS!
Guess that's a testimony to engineering design and manufacturing.
Sorry GRNT4R00 wasn't as fortunate, but thanks to everyone's efforts here, I'll be ready should the worst ever creep up.
Ready for winter.
Thanks a bunch everyone!

That’s great to hear that it was just the bulbs. I now keep my DRL’s unplugged since I have the module inside the fender behind the battery.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but thought bumping this one would be better than creating another.

I'm having a similar, but not exactly identical issue, to this one. I've read through this entire thread as well as several other similar threads, but want to post and ask for advice since my issue isn't exactly the same as this one.

My passenger side low beam is not working, driver's side works fine. High beams on both sides work fine. Mine is a 2000 SR5 WITH DRL. DRL works along with low beam on the drivers side, but does not work on the pass side.

After reading this thread and others, I purchased new bulbs which didn't fix the issue and also checked fuses (not the issue) and replaced headlight relay which didn't fix it either.

What steps should I take next to troubleshoot this issue?

Thanks in advance

I would use a meter and check to make sure you have proper voltage at the socket as a start. :)
