LTDSC Build Thread

i plan to cycle my suspension before i put the coilovers back in. But i know some have put the spacers in and looking to see how big. I used older UCA washers as im not paying $5 for a spacer from wheelers.

I'm running mine with 1/4" spacers and I still have plenty of room.

have any pics of yours?

Please mind the dust. No one is supposed to see it when its dirty. :becky:

mine is still sandy and dirty from when my CV boot exploded. Ill let it slide!

Perfect. Ill be fine then. Thank you!

Just dropped my coilovers off. Dudes going to custom valve them for me. Change up a few discs for rebound and whatnot to fine tune it since it'll be opened up. Much excite.

I guess one of the shafts on my coil-overs had rust on it that after sanding still were rough to the touch so he's ordering me a new shafts from Icon. So I'm still down and will be probably the week. Bummer, and its projected to rain all week after Thursday, so who knows when ill be able to put these back on.

Hey Sam, are you running lca skids? I'm wondering if there will be clearance issues with that anchor point on the lca.

i am not running any LCA skid. For reference the LCA mount for the strap is directly above the edge on the bumpstop. So depending on the way the skid is, it should work.

Just picked up my coilovers from a rebuild. I must have been really low on nitrogen because these are a LOT higher than before with the same springs and same exact collar adjustment as before. I need to decrank a bit I'm maxed out.

Tonight I tackled my LED gauge cluster swap.

You can see here I have two LEDs that aren't working. I attempted to fix and then ran out of PLCC-2s so I ordered more. But I need to drive so here's where I'm at until those come in.

I'm very happy with it.

Looks good and I wish I had a limited cluster. You missed the LEDs for the needles too. I just finished my climate control where I switched my dial indicators from orange to red.

I did the LEDs for the needles. I left the needles themselves red. You can see the white dot at the end of the needle "beam".

the pic you posted only showed the first led in the center and the other ones should be lit for the sweep of the needle. my bad if you changed them already

Interesting. They aren't lit still. Weird those ones wouldn't work but the ones next to it do. I'll make sure to see what the needs does as it rolls over.

So those around the pins should be lit full time? Or does it light as the dial moves over it? I'll know tomorrow when I drive it.

yeah, the led projects onto the clear of the needle as it sweeps the gauge. i swapped mine to white and and my orange needles look almost pink. I'm gonna swap them to red to darken them up. I've taken mine apart a couple times and wanna save you some time.

I need to swap the two anyway so I'll have it open again when my next shipment of LEDs shows up. I might do the red like you because they do look pink.
