LTDSC Build Thread

Our 4Runners are nearly identical! I have the Bilstein 5100 Adj up front and ToyTec 2" lift springs in the rear. Same color truck, tint and so on and I was so glad to see your pics of the SpiderTrax spacers on because that is next on my list to. Hope they get your truck fixed up fast!

Well the lady admitted fault so today is my day to get my 4runner back. I've been in a Chevy Cruze rental and while its a nice car, im 6'8" so i feel like a shriner in it.

So much was replaced, its amazing what can happen at under 10mph. But its all done finally and i get it back today.

Here was a pic from the body shop friend when my grille came in.

Did the oil change before my road trip. First time i've done it on this one, thankfully my friend has a lift. Problem is, no extended oil catch so this was a treat.

Re clamped my CV boots so hopefully no more problems.

Typical #IFSproblems, how many miles are on the truck? Probably original boots and axles showing their age, I would bet it won't leak from that spot again.

CV's

look'n real good, love the lift and tires.

had same issue with my 2004 with CV boot clips. Wasn't aware of problem until noticed huge glob of CV grease on garage floor. Not sure how long CV's were exposed and mileage was high enough that I just decided to replace both axles last weekend. Axles were not overly expensive, happy job is done and should be good for long while. Replaced stabilizer bar links while I was in there, got rid of minor loose clunking I was experiencing too...bonus.

Enjoying the post progress, keep us up to date as you mod out...

97k miles but was spotless until I lifted it. It was the lift that popped the clamps. No big deal.

back from my vacation and had some free time.

My badge i guess just peeled off because of age but here it was.

everything on your truck looks great! love the look of the Mickey's.... Where did you buy your "eraser wheel" from? (the tool to remove the sticky residue). I worked in a body shop a long time ago and they had them there, but I've never seen them outside of there.
