Now those cleaned up nicely, better than I would expected them too. Looks like brand new. Great find there you did.

So, when are you going to give that picket fence some love before it starts getting rotted.

Pssh that's my parents worry. I was the only one who maintained it, and I moved out 4 years ago!

I know most people here could care less about their paint and that scratches add character but im not that way. I waited a good 6 months since i bought it because winter and doing other people cars, but i finally detailed mine.

This will be somewhat tough to compare because i didnt take any before pics but heres a few afters of my now, nice paint.

I was amazed at the hood, it had a lot of heat transfer and hazing. I believe the previous owner either lived on the sun, or never washed it.

That is an Adam's shine right there! I can't wait to get on mine but it won't happen till all this pollen is gone. I hate this stuff!

i may have jumped the gun on mine but im at peace knowing theres a good foundation. now i just need to keep up on it.

That's a great shine, almost inspires me to go and clean mine up. I washed it for the first time in months the other day but it could use some wax real bad, it's dull and you can't run your hand across it smoothly.

Purchased LR UCAs.....again. Actually for $50 less than i bought them before. I should get them by next week so weekend install.

I thought you already had LR UCA's? Where did you order them from?

i did, but they went with everything else i returned at the time.

I ordered off Amazon. ended up being the list price of what vendors are pricing, shipping included.

Gotcha. I didn't realize you had returned those. I really need to order a set as well.

i figured im going to be ripping my front end off and i know i wont be able to align properly without them so i held off a week.

My driving/handling have been weird since my last alignment. I hope the UCAs help the feel.

Occasionally you will find them on sale or gb price, with code, on metaltech's website. Thats where i picked mine up for $375 shipped. Got the code off tacomaworld.

They help a lot. I never had an alignment after my spacer lift, it drove straight and handle fine.

Went to my present lift w/ lr uca's and aligned, and what a difference, I actually hear the hum from my ht tires ( minimal ) and the handling is responsive. The difference of putting a few more dollars in the front does remarkable.
