Congrats man. Those are some nice looking pieces. Out of curiosity, with the better upper arms and these nice new coilovers, has the useable wheel travel increased? And if so, do you know how much wheel travel?

Its definitely a few more inches of travel although my UCA angle is still the same. I guess you're just not supposed to lift the v8s high or I really need a heavy duty spring

I don't understand... Isn't the height and UCA relationship a geometry thing? What does it have to do with the spring rate? Also, how does the ride compare to the sway-a-ways?

at the original ICON ship crank height my angles were a little better. Im lifted around 3-4" with these, as you can see by my UCA uniball im close to full droop from the UCAs alone, not the coilovers.

The ride i cant really tell but i've only driven it a total of 10 miles. I can report back later with real opinion on the ride.

been awhile since i've updated this so ill give a little run down on whats happened recently.

I got my bumper ends capped

Otherwise i havent done too much. I added a backup camera in the hitch plug toyota logo. Its hidden and easily removed for when/if i tow.

Future plans which should happen soon:

06+ Headlights
Sport Hood

Im still debating on doing flared fenders on the front. Not sure if im going to or not. Thoughts?

Drove down to SoCal this weekend. Had a detailing clinic and was hanging out with some friends. I went to explore Big Bear as it was 10 min away and i had a blast. Great sights, easy trails and some moderate ones. But i stuck to easy ones knowing i had about 500 miles to drive back home. All in all i drove just under 1200 miles and avg'd 18MPG which was surprising.

This was my first test of the ICONs and i cant be any happier with them. Everything was so smooth. I have a video im editing and ill post that as well once im all done.

Bought some things finally for the runner. Bought two 3x3 pods, flood pattern for fog lights. I know it wouldn't push much light out but i miss having fog lights and 4 lights on at night. I lost a ton of driving light when i got rid of my bumper so i finally bought pods.

I also removed all 5 of the stock JBL 2.5" drivers and ordered new ones. Im waiting for those to come in but ill update with pics and review on both items once they're installed this weekend.

these are also the same speakers in the front doors up top.

Pods installed today used factory hole in radiator skirt where my blinkers are at. Worked perfect and evenly drilled so no crookedness.

Installed these today. Huge difference from stock jbl system. They really compliment my other replacement speakers. There is 5 of these little guys. Easy install and I highly recommend this mod if you like audio.
