I posted a couple of weeks ago that I hit a deer with my '12 SR5, lots of damage including side airbags. Insurance estimate was $11,200. Took it to the local dealer body shop and they are going to fix it and keep it ,as I just traded it for a new '14 Barcelona red Trail Edition. I was satisfied with the deal though there was some diminished value because of the airbags, about 10% below KBB trade in value. I get to pick it up on Monday so I am really looking forward to the upgrade. WOOHOO !!

Good! I have had one wreck in my life. Taking my family to the beach several years ago outside Greensburo NC at 10 am on a Saturday. I got caught in a sandwich that somehow ended up no fault. They towed my 2 year old truck to the dealer. I knew it would be totalled.I made a deal with the dealer and I drove off the lot 3 hours after I crashed with a brand new truck and continued on my way to the beach. Dealt with insurance company from under umbrella while drinking beer that Monday. Life's too short.
This was my 1st insurance claim, except for a few windshields, since 1978. That covers approx. 1.5 million miles by my calculations so I have been lucky a few times but I like to think I am pretty careful and defensive driver. I really liked the new instrument panel and the Entune with Nav. on the new '14. They had a new FJ with the TRD off road pkg. that I drove also but it just wasn't as comfortable and didn't fit me near as well. I already have the black Plastidip to do the silver lower covers on the front and rear for the new TE. So I will be glad to get rid of this SICK rental car and get my new 4Runner tomorrow.
1Engineer, you OK with water in your neck of the woods? I am working down around Charleston and it is a mess. That chemical spill is creating havoc for a whole lot of people.

We lost a few shifts of production this week thanks to the snow early in the week and water later in the week. The water at my house is contaminated but my inlaws were in the clear, so I'm staying with them until things clear up.
I met our new coops this week. Your son must be on engine side. Both of mine are from Ohio State.
edit: for some reason I was thinking your son was the co op rather than one of his teammates. I have no idea what is happening to my mind...
