Nope, that is that latest and greatest for now. But, I will post the finished product asap.
I should have it done within a week as long as the parts for the bumper and shocks get here.
 
Thanks for sharing your pics, I really like the blacked out headlights, I've always wanted to do it, but am scared I would mess something up/have moisture issues after attempting it!
Question: have you noticed any decreased headlight brightness since you did the blackout?

Shrockworks & "toys" look like they will be a nice addition, can't wait to see the final product, haha.
How long did it take you to do the back end suspension install?

p.s. love OBX, used to live in VA and visited OBX yearly during the summer, awesome place!
 
I really like where this build is going.

And I thought I had a lot of PIAA lights, where are you putting all those?

Question 1: "have you noticed any decreased headlight brightness since you did the blackout?" No, if there was, it was super little. It looks great at night too.
Question 2: "How long did it take you to do the back end suspension install?" It took me about2 hours each. (coming from a guy with no mechanical experience)

Also, dont be afraid if you get moisture let it dry then apply a sealant. And work slow and firm when taking the cover off. worst care you have to hunt in the junk yard for new ones (doubt you need to).

I have 6 (520) and 2 (Fog). Two go on the SW bumper, along with the two fogs. I want to use the rest on the roof. Im still debating.

Option 1: 4 facing front mounted on front stock roof rack.
Option 2: 3 facing front mounted on front stock roof rack, and 1 on back rack facing rear
Option 3: 3 lights across SW bumper and 2 on front stock roof rack with 1 on back rack facing rear
Option 4: 3 lights across SW bumper and 3 on front stock roof rack.

Definitely option 1!

Whenever I see a truck with 3 bumper lights or 3 roof lights I think it looks a little odd. Also, I do not like 2 on the roof- your truck will look like Mickey Mouse.
 
Congrats!!! That's some serious hardware you got there!! Looking forward to seeing everything installed and hearing your reviews on the new 2.0 ICON mono-tubes.

I'm with BlairB, Option 1 hands down. Not that either one of us are biased :thumb3:
 
With those opinions but in. I am going to get 4 on the roof rack (stock rails) and the 2 on the bumper.

But here is my next question. How would you go about wiring them (on the rack)?.

You have two options:
1. Run wires down the sides of the windshield under the weather stripping directly into your engine bay
2. Run the wires toward the rear and route your wired through stock wiring bundles

The 2nd option will require you to extend the wires but you'll be able to hide the wires more easily.

When I ran PIAA's, I ditched the big white connectors between the lights and the wire harnesses. They are hard to hide and will be pretty noticeable if you are mounting it on the cross bar.
