mine has certainly gotten louder and deeper...its leveled off now and i dont expect it to get any louder really untill the muffler starts to break down years from now.

it really takes about 5000 miles for a muffler to really break in and that is why you will gradually hear the difference over time. the first 500 miles lets you hear the tone that it will keep but the volume and character of the tone will change as miles are increased.

I don't hear any difference. The system definitely makes more power, especially on the top end. This graph is on the non-VVT-i V8, the VVT-i motor should make a little more.

Honestly, that's almost impossible to feel even if really 13hp increase. The reason you feel it giving more power, because you heard the "wowo" sound from exhaust...

Same as when I was listening the "initial D" sound track, my supra will have 20hp increased.... No offense, just sharing~

The system has a very conservative sound. At idle it sounds stock. On start-up it has a really nice purr (without touching the throttle) until the idle drops. As you start to pull away under light throttle there is a nice low tone (not loud) then as you pick up speed or give it more throttle it gets quieter. On the highway it has a very low purr and as you pick up speed it get smoother and quieter.

Nowhere in my posts did I say I felt an increase in power. I mentioned an increase based on the dyno pull graph, which clearly shows a nice increase at high RPM. There is no reason to NOT believe the graph I posted.

Koz, thanks for the explanation... sounds great I will probably go for this muffler. It will make me happy, as well as my baby.

I didn't mean to be an axx hole and I never say I am not believe your graph. I know dyno is dyno, which shows the number... however, what I am saying is, as a human, it's difficult to feel the "minor" power increased such as 10-13hp over 200+hp. (At least I can't )

Let say if there's a muffler will also produce 13hp, but no sound at all (exactly same as stock), then the driver probably say nothing changed or increased. On the other hands, with the "performance" sounded muffler, sometimes you feel the car runs more smooth and faster...

Just sharing my funny thought, not mean anything bad. Chaos~

Has anyone ever put this system on a v6? I want to get this exhaust but i dont want the rice burner sound. So does anyone have it on a v6 or heard it?

I think if you do a search you will find that a few people out there have put this on a V6 with good results. Mine just arrived in the mail today; hopefully it will be installed tomorrow or Sat, so I'll let everyone know how it goes.

I installed the system tonight. Took about 3 hours. My girlfriend took photos, but didn't know quite what to take, so they don't really show much detail in terms of the install. Overall, it is pretty easy, esp. if you can use a lift. So far, sounds good, but I haven't even driven it yet, other than 2 miles back home . I think most people with a 14mm and 15mm wrench and socket set can handle this.
