Magnetic Grey 4Runners! Lets see them!

Just picked mine up. A 2016 with 18K miles. Came from a Nissan Xterra that we had since new thru 186K miles. Already loving it and the forum. Did the TRD Cold Air Intake pieced together from Camelback Toyota and NAV Map Update. Can't wait to do more.

thanks, the aluminum bumpers are great, very light weight but strong. front bumper held up like a champ when i t-boned a red light runner (still need to get the it re-coated, but hey it's aluminum so at least it isn't rusting)

only thing i'd like to change is to have one of those lever-latch-clamp-things instead of a snap-ring-pin-thing for the rear swing out. when i have time i will likely work on a way to swap that out, which seems simple enough to do.

I am planning on buying a new 4Runner. I have narrowed my choices down to grey, silver, or blue. I have always owned silver vehicles and wanted to try something different. I really like the silver though do its its ability to hide scratches and dirt; I dont wash my cars much. I have always liked blue vehicles but due to the shade is more navy blue dirt/scratches would be seen more. I thought grey might be a good color to go with but know scratches will be much more apparent compared to the silver. Any advice?

You're in the MGM 5th gen thread. I think you know what answers you're going to get lol. IMO, the silver is nice, the new TRD Pro blue is terrible just like most TRD Pro colors, the regular blue is OK, I still prefer the MGM over them all.

Gray shows scratches like other dark colors. I spent hours buffing scratches after an off roading trip through Big Bend.

Me too. Average temps should allow us to wash and detail the 4Runner. Next I need to add a wrap to the hood scoop so I save my retina but I need to at least clay bar.

Just joined up. Picked up my new ride two weeks ago with 7 miles on the ODO. So far I am really loving the truck. Putting on Nerf bars this weekend and have swapped most of the lights to led. More mods to come, once my wallet fills up again. I drove a Pathfinder for the better part of 13 years then a Subaru Legacy GT wagon for another 13, now my 4runner hopefully for longer.
