Edit: Kid got me by like 2.5 sec. at the most.

Important!

That keeps the dial in the locked or free position.

When you lock your hubs in, that click you hear is that ball sitting where it needs to keep the dial in place.

That way it doesn't unlock by itself. If it unlocks under load, you could destroy the cog gear in the hub.

Bahahaha! I like helping people, so I figure if i help cover the country, then im covered no matter what.

Like Kid said wabfab.org has them for $12 per side.

damn thats 50 bucks for both sides and the o-rings but i guess right now i need to get my new motor together and in before i think about going wheeling with it

Man I can wait for highschool, Im so, like totally, sick of 7th grade. Haha. I kid, I kid.

Couple years ago (Must have been 4th grade) I was rebuilding my hubs and also lost the spring and ball, we were all going out that afternoon, and with no way to get a replacement, I threw it back together and hoped for the best. Ive been ball less (HAHA!) in my left hub all this time with no issues.

Until now... Great job jinxing it. Now your gonna go out, that left hub is going blow on some hill. Upon which you and your rig will roll eleventy billion times down that very hill, catch fire and it slowly destroy itself. You of course will walk away without a scratch, but you rig will endure the ultimate death.
All because you didn't get some balls.... and springs.

so you don't have even say it
DON'T YOU PUT THAT EVIL ON ME, RICKY BOBBY!!

Eleventy-billion? That's quite the hill.

Hey, OP? I don't know how much hubs go for at the wrecker, but if you're already spending 50 bucks that's something to think about, and then you'd have a spare or two to boot.
