I believe you'll need a lift to get 285's in.

Thanks - I'm debating the daystar 1 -1 1/2" lift to get that room. any idea on the install time for that ?
A bit worried as the truck has a SC on it.... lot of power to move the center of gravity up...... ! Gonna take a bit of getting used to coming from an S6 Audi !

Dealer installed 04'
It's a lightly used 04' a friend's selling - having had a 98' with the SC setup and lot's of fun toys I've decided to go back to the reliabilty of Toyota..... especially given the Hp !
it's a Sport with the TRD exhaust, TRd 18" tires/rims, and obviosuly the charger...... amazing truck other then it's missing leather !
How much lift does your truck have in total ? I want just enough to fit the 285's in and really don't plan on wheeli' it like I did my other truck....

the truck in unique in that it is a Toyota reps truck....... ordered with a southern package including the dvd etc...
The charger was dealer installed for sure. I was told that they pulled the SC's from the market due to consistency problems with the ECU's - but nothing related to model year, just happened to coincide about this time last year ( when this truck first was built up).
I guess for some reason they don't want to revisit it or fix it.... seems illogical to me given the market potential.....they're great rigs but I wouldn't buy one other then 2-3 years old unless I could get it with the Sc'er.....I ahve to assume that there are 100 or so of us out there....
Hopefully it is as problem free as my 98' and the parts stay available until I can trade it in on a 06' SC'ed with 400hp !!
