Dumbo - why?
Because someone in another thread referred to the color as being an elephant LMAO.

Anyway... I finally took delivery of this mythical vehicle this evening and wow, this is definitely a change from a sports sedan.

Ceramic Coating

I've own my TRDP for less than 12 hours and it's already been dropped off to a shop. It's going in for some ceramic coating to help protect the paint - it'll make it easier to clean in the future so it's an investment I'm willing to make.

I was recommended to see Raj @ MAR by a forum member (TRDProCement). They located in Newark, CA (Norcal - bay area region).
I first contacted Raj via text 2 weeks ago. I did not even have my Pro yet but he was very responsive and answered any questions that I had. I met him in person today and he was really easy to work with.

Raj is also going to remove the edge guards that was installed by the dealership (see first post with the attachment - its visible and is NOT cement in color). I may reinstall them later if I wrap my fenders in black.

I should be able to pick it back up tomorrow - can't wait for the results!
For now, attached is shot of some of the crap that came off already (less than 50 miles on the odometer at this point - it was parked in my garage last night too).

Did you order your door edge guards in black? Mine are color matched cement. You also have them on your rear doors, was that an option? I only have them on the front doors.

Dealer installed. I didn't want them but they were on there already LOL. Luckily, they left them on for me so I can remove them and install them later if I wanted.

Correct. I went for a 2-year protection coating. I forgot to add his website in my earlier post... I'll make that edit after this post.

I called every dealer in California and all the pro's were called for so i settled with a trd offroad prem. SUNROOF! had to fly out to Tuscon from Los Angeles to get it on the cheap.

I waited about a month - got lucky with a certain set of circumstances.
If I didn't get this Cement, I would have gone with a white TRD ORP.

I just noticed this - TRD PRO vs TRD ORP - you use reverse the letters in the last word/acronym LOL

I was debating on getting this done but my rig has enough pinstriping from branches that it wouldn't make sense to spend the money to coat it. We're out every weekend so it doesn't stay clean for more than a week. The way I look at it trail damage is a badge of honor.

First set of MODS

First thing I've settled on purchasing is the Anytime Backup Camera Mod.

The idea is to be able to turn on your factory rear view camera at any time. NICE! The group is just one component needed (the wiring/harness).

I still need to get a switch to activate the camera. Not sure which one yet but it's going to be one of these:
