when i first took my bumper off i thought that most of the radiator was covered with the bumper and that the air flow could be better so i made it better, but so far i have not seen a difference in temperature so if there is any change it is very miner

My guess is that maybe the engineers at Toyota, with their billion dollar R&D department, knew what they were doing and got it right the first time. Maybe.

:lol: true true, but that is not why i took the chrome part out, it looked funny behind the mesh and i was going to need to cut it a little anyways so i just cut it off, i like it, i am thinking about blacking out the chrome that is still there but we will see.

i went to two places and one gave me a quote of $863.00 and the second gave me a quote of 935.00 so because i am handy i am going to tackle this one on my own, i found all the parts i will need for around $300 online so soon i am going to order what i need and then the build thread will continue.

i almost cut my finger off the other day with a saw while i was cutting the skirt of the 4Rrunner to put back on.

i decided that the rusty skid plate need to be fixed so i started to take it off with the help of some liquid wrench

took off all the skids

started to clean it up

i put some por15 on it, my friend had good luck with it so i am going to try it and see how well it works

i desided that i did not like the pin strips

so i heated them up

then i pealed it off with just a little heat and some time

took off my wipers

i added some wind deflectors to the wipers so at high speed they will not shack, then sanded them both and painted them black

i also got some black rubber floor mats from "pull n save", im trying to replace the interior with black.

while i was waiting for paint to dry i started to make this

after heating i hammered this bolt into this pipe

then i did it with another pipe and put them on my brush bar as just another bar

then i remounted the lights to be sort of in the bumper and not on the brush bar

once i weld the nuts into the pipe i am going to paint the bars and it will all look made :rockon:

just went fishing and found out about a short cut on a dirt road, so we took it and the short cut has a nice view and was fun driving in the 4runner.

seeing this just makes me want a lift and to replace my shocks and struts

found some sweet lights

i found some sweet lights at the pick-n-pull the other day $24 well spent for the lights a fuse and the relay.

steering rack

got the time to do my steering rack so here it is.

jacked up the 4runner and started to rip my steering rack out

the red and blue parts are the new parts i replaced along with the steering rack.

i also painted my rims black while they were off, i used some worthless magic cards to not get paint on my tires lol, don't worry magic people these were all common cards that i had more then 6 of each and are worth nothing.

The red, the blue, the green, the black. It's really starting to come together. Although I don't think this section is the right one for ur build thread. Maybe [MENTION=25058]ChildrenOfBodom[/MENTION] or @SVDude can move this to the 3rd gen section where it belongs.
