Just wanted to wish my fellow 5th Genners all the very best for the Holidays. I have survived assembling a 200+ piece Barbie Townhouse for my five year old and early next week we are heading off to Jamaica for a week of sun, so life is good! May God's Grace continue to bless us all.

Since this is a 4R forum - along with Yuletide Greetings lets all post the first mod we plan on doing in 2012

Me.....? Trail body parts for my Limited are heading off to be painted for install upon my return.

Enjoy your trip to Jamaica and most importantly enjoy your time with your daughter. We all know how precious our time with loved ones is.

As for a 2012 mod, still on the fence about what lift to go with.

BTW, I am assuming you are taking your rig along for the vacation....if you PM Antman tonight, he might be able to build you a hovercraft attachment mod before your trip. Think of the possibilities......... HAHAHA

Not sure which will be first, but potential mods include putting black TE style "4Runner" garnish on rear tail gate instead of the chrome, Bilstein 5100s on all 4 corners, and/or new tires. Would love to do a full TE body conversion like phillyd2, but that's not on the cards right now.

As for whats going on for the 4runner, lets just say a lot lol. I'm planning a 2 week trip out to Moab UT from Missouri. I'm planning on full skids, rear bumper, and solar panel/arb fridge by spring.

Merry christmas, I wish everyone the best. I spent the first 6 months of 2011 thinking about buying a 4runner and the last 4 months wishing I had time to mess with my brand new 4runner that has been sitting in my garage since a week after I bought it. but the mods are a coming. 4runner.org are a good bunch and I feel privileged to be among them. Since I already have Dura Tracs as summer tires, I think I'll opt for BudBuilt sliders and some Bilsteens on the front end. And maybe a front end change to get the steering to be a little less reactive.
