Just thought I would let you guys know that metaltech is having a 20% off sale on OPOR sliders. I just ordered mine 2010+ trail edition sliders for my 2014 SR5, with partial front and rear dimple plate, bare metal. $400 out the door, found out they are in the portland ore area, since i am making a trip down there in a week. I can pickup locally and save shipping.
I had an order in with Shrockworks but didn't want to wait any longer as they have not even started making the sliders from the Feb Group Buy.
Metal Tech 4x4 Toyota Off Road Specialists
20% off code = OPOR20

Here is a picture of CBIELAT's OPOR sliders.

So are those in the picture the "full dimple plate"?

I don't really need slider per se, but these look better than any side step IMO..

How do the OPOR sliders compare to other brands. Metaltech also has their own brand, right?

I was looking at budbuilt as an option.

I have a 2011 SR5, but was planning to run trail sliders and cut the rockers.

I'm not willing to wait on shockworks. I do want something strong enough that I can lift off of it....

That is the partial dimple plate with the rear plate. The MT brand and both look good, but the 20% is only on OPOR. These are not mine, but same as the ones I ordered.

I no longer see the full dimple die option that used to be easily selectable on their drop down menu. Are they no longer offering the full dimple die on the front?

How did you get yours $400 otd?
$450+$150= $600 x 20% off =$480?

Couple things,

-20% off doesn't apply to powder coating

-I was told by MT that shipping is cheaper if you order bare metal. My bare metal sliders were only $95 shipped to the most eastern tip of NC.

He ordered bare metal, no powder coating.

$450 x 20% off = $360?
looks like he's picking up so no shipping fee.
I guess the $40 is tax but I thought no tax in OR.

These looks great but the shipping fee is killing the deal for me. It's estimated $176 for shipping to CA (nvm, it's showing $68 now =))

Spoke to metal tech today, and we are looking at a 4 to 6 week delivery time for these due to a backlog of orders... Guess it's that good of a deal :-)

Damn!! I wasn't told this but I didn't ask either... I waited 2 months for my truck, 4 months for shrockworks bumper now this. This truck is making me a patient being.

It was 400 because I wanted the rear dimple plate, no sales tax in Oregon. When I got there to pickup, I actually paid little more for the metal tech sliders over the opor sliders, because they came powder coated. Botth look strong.

great customer seevice too!

I'll add a vote of confidence for Metaltech as a supplier as well. I ordered my OPOR's a couple weeks before this sale was announced. Received them promptly, great quality, and look fantastic when installed. When I saw this thread, I was initially disappointed.....but then I emailed Jen at Metaltech, and she said no problem, we offer a 30day price guarantee. They processed a $90 refund to me today. I couldn't be happier, and would recommend Metaltech to anyone. Great customer service.

Same. They couldn't be better. Prompt email responses. I ordered my sliders Monday and just got emailed confirmation that they will be here in a week!!

Statement OFFICIALLY retracted!!! I just got shipping confirmation and they should be here next week. I guess the metal tech guys were being cautious when they quoted me that time frame.

Sorry for the false information!! These Metal Tech guys rock! :bounce:

You should call Metal Tech and ask about this. I just ordered a long travel rear set up from them last week and there wasn't a certain option in the drop down box but they do offer what I was looking for.

I'm about to place my order for the sliders. Question, Should i powder coat it or save some $$$ and paint it myself? Any benefits of PC vs Painted? Theres a warning that during shipment the powder coat is not warranty if it's damages or chip, etc.
