There is risk involved but much less so on the west coast. Pics will tell a lot. If the owner isn't willing to take then for you then they aren't ready to sell.

If you have driven one you have driven them all. If it's at a reputable dealer and the pics look good I wouldn't even hesitate. Usually if you tell them from out of town they will do a very thorough inspection too.

I'll second that. I bought my 3rz off of a nice lady while I was in Japan. I had about 4 weeks left there and I asked if she would take a few extra pics. I got what I needed, I paid a fair price, and she sold her 3rz 4x4 and said she was going to get a Ford escape....that's when I left.

I'm currently on a 4Runner buying spree so I'm with Krypto here buy it before I do. In all seriousness if if I had the cash I would get this one. Reminds me of my sport which had roughly the same mileage and was a couple hundred bucks less. I didn't even negotiate with the guy I said I'll pay full asking price. He had a binder full of service records from the dealership and was the original owner can't argue with that. Plus the color is amazing I have a soft spot for glacier metallic

I don't think it's glacier metallic. Isn't the official color sea foam green?
It's kind of messed up but the more I look at it the more I like it. My
Wife think it looks like something an old person would drive. There is an Avalon running around here in the same color

Maybe a light at the end of the tunnel. Our local Toyota dealer is getting a 97 in on Tuesday with 108k. The sales manager is a good friend of mine so he is going to let me know when he gets it and give me first crack at it. I guess it's in "pristine" condition. Only thing is that it's jade mica and an sr5. Good thing is that it's only $6k.

It's soaking here but no snow. It's supposed to change overnight.
It's scary driving in the snow here. College town and most of the students suck at driving. I would love some plate bumpers in the snow.
