I can only get away for one day to the jambo in Indy(wife is having some surgery that week so the mother-in-law can stay with her one day). I would love to pre-register the 4runner so I could drive it into the fairgrounds but with the cost of gas, I will just enter as a spectator Maybe there could be a meet and greet early one morning before heading to the fairgrounds?

My mom gets discount tickets from work. I'm thinking that with these tix get us in to the fairground with two people per Vehicle for $17. I will double check though. I'll post up the link to the discount tix here in a day or so, but we can get $5 off.

6th Annual Midwest Yota Jamboree (Sept 22/23rd)

Cliffs=No bueno for me.

The local Toyota guys from mud won't even wheel there anymore. It's just automatic body damage or super easy trails. Nothing in between. Too many people with big blocks and 44's blasting down the trails there making 4 and 5 foot deep water/mud holes.

That being said, I know there is a group of people from Chicago mud going to the Badlands that weekend instead that I'm going with.

See, I've heard a few guys say that but it's all been from guys that haven't been that have "heard this." and then there are some guys from our local club that aren't mud guys that have gone and said it's worth going and that the whole place isn't just mud. And those guys have built rigs that are rock crawlers and trail rigs, not mud boggers.

Not to sway you one way or another, but they're two different kind of events. The Indy trip is a day of wheeling and the 4Wheel Jamboree downtown. An Illinois trip is just wheeling from what I read.
Just depends on what you want to do. I like the Jamboree cause you can get some killer deals and see all kinds of vehicles and mods.
I'm sure either even will be fun though.
