Hell I say go for it.. they might be a little rough but cleaned up, sanded, and painted they'll look sweet. I been wanting to get mine powder coated for some time now. Like his ad says, you will need the different kind of lugs, your standard lugs you have now will NOT fit.

one thing i love about the LC wheels is the backspacing. IIRC they can squeeze 285s in there without rub issues and wheel spacers :)

Seems high to me, but not bad. Go for it. I almost bought a set myself, but a guy a few minutes before me snaked them.

Love the look of those on 3rd gens, some of the strongest and lightest wheels you can buy, if only they fit over the Tundra brake swap.

Thanks guys! might get em soon.

What king of lugs would i need to buy? in his ad he says he'll include
"19 acorn lugs and 5 standards for the 24 lugs needed to install"
but i don't think those will work so can you guys give me a solid answer of what i need to correctly install these? thanks! :D

Lugs

hit up 4wheelwarehouse and buy a set of new lugs. Chances are the lugs you have now wont fit those wheels. :girl:

you need the acorn style lugs good luck, ps id get em if i was you, i would be running a set right now if i hadnt done the 231 TBU

they're getting harder to find - at least in my area where they're near impossoible to come accross.

wheelers offroad has the lugs you'll need and they even have an extended shank acorn style so you can run a 1/4 spacer to clear tundra 231's and not lose purchase on your studs.

Get em! One of my favorite wheels on the 3rd gens. A little elbow grease and they'll look good as new.

thanks for the info. he says that it comes with 19 acorn lugs so ill just need to buy 5 more right to install 4 of em yeh??

Wheelers sells the lugs for a dollar a piece and I bought a gorilla acorn style lock kit for 13 which included 4 wheel nuts.

Here's for reference. Like everyone has said, you'll need the acorn/tapered style. I've had no problem with mine. Clean them up and get some caps for them and they'll look fine. Mine look far worse than the these and I still get questions and compliments all the time. Then again, I kinda like that they are rough, makes me not feel so quilty bashing them up offroad. They are one tough wheel though.
