Need to do a little clearance I have a feeling. But once the body mount chop is done I think I will be good. Thing is beastly. One thing new tires made me realize was how loud the Duratracs had become. These things are quiet!

Luke needs to fix your rear bumper too now. At full stuff the 34s will grab by about an inch. I'm clearancing 2" on mine within the next month or so.

Yeah I need to get it in the dirt to see where the work will need to be done. If you get your's done first take pictures and let me know. Maybe I will have him redo the arms at the same time.

I can tell from your pics you need it. When I get mine done I'll send you pics.

Found one problem. Tightened her up and the metal clank sound is gone. Guess the wash boards in the desert shook it loose.
Seems to happen to mine every time I loosen them to grease the bushings. Have to keep an eye on them for a couple weeks.

Good you caught it before the nut was gone!

The front body mount chop is finally done. Big thanks to the_josh for doing some great work. For you SF Bay Area guys looking for someone to do a little work, maybe send him a message and see if he is available.

Picts of how Josh did my chop.

It is all painted up and ready to wheel. Definitely will have Josh doing more work in the future.

Very clean! I'm getting ready to do mine again, and this exactly how I'm planning to cut mine. Tires look great! Do you think you could have fit any larger tire in there and it still be wheelable?

A 315/70x17 would be a stretch. Wheelable? Sure but you would probably be rubbing a lot. I am going to wheel and flex it completely out to see how things stuff and will get back to you.

That is prolly the best body mount chop I've seen, super clean. How you liking those Nitto Trails? I am also looking to go with a 285/75 tire and there is not to may options out there. My 295/70 terra grapplers already rub the top of my wheel well but, I think its less of an inch difference to go with 285/75's.

Im inbetween the nittos or toyos. even though they are made by the same company......
thanks

Diggin the trails and I rub a bit on the top too.

Thanks for the body chop compliments. The below photo is the painted final product thanks to the_josh.

Did some more clearance today up front. Should take care of most of it. Especially once I get my alignment redone and tweaked.

Ended up with black primer on it so it won't look so bad.

Next up will be to clearance the rear bumper. Might leave that up to someone with a little more experience then my self. Plus would probably weld on a small support to keep it clean.

Also on the list is to get the shocks rebuilt. Then it should be on to the regear and lockers.

I forgot how much is there! Mine is completely gone so it's shocking to see it all there again. Nice work!

Thanks. It was only rubbing on the inner part from what I could tell but figures I would trim both the fender mount and body. Just did not fell comfortable cutting it all out. At least yet.

Glad to see someone running the trail grapplers! I'm torn btwn Trail Grapplers and KM2s (285/70-17) - any words of wisdom (or at least feelings on the grapplers since you're the only person I've seen running them)?

There are a bunch that I have seen. They are a good tire in the dirt that I can see now. They are loud but they are a mud tire. So far I am very happy with them.

Probably try the Toyos next.

Beautiful.. I needed a source for this too, my tires were getting chewed up out in Cabeza.

The rig finally got named. Only took a couple weeks. Now just waiting for the other one for the driver's side.

I did not think that emblem making site would actually work. But behold it did.

And of course plastiDiped
