I rarely get on... actually haven't been on in at least a year or two. I saw the pic on FB and figured its time to check in on the build... Still have my truck, just haven't done much to it in a long while besides maintenance.
Nice find on the FJ Rims as well SCrunner12... i have been looking for a black set of those rims but haven't really been looking very hard.

You can buy the black ones online I believe without any trouble, I saw some sets for sale on Tacoma World as well.
If you're looking for something to do, adjust your damn ARB brackets and get rid of that gap-toothed smile :cheers:

lol ya I was just looking at some and found a set of black ones that I may have to buy pretty soon... I have been slacking on fixing that gap still. That needs to get done asap, it still bothers me but just been busy with work.

Looks like my timeline for getting most of the parts on will be 5-6 weeks. It'd be a shame to keep such nice rims in boxes for that long, so with some free tempered glass on craigslist and rubber spacers I put them to use in the meantime.

Haha well you know it's coming. I've been working silently but I know everyone is focused on the bigger picture so I haven't wasted time with pictures and posting. Plugs/wires, engine bay clean, undercarriage scrubbed clean and ready for rust proofing in the next couple weeks. Beyond that....yeah no mods
out:I think the only thing that will be different will be the suspension, front grille and no painted rocker panels. Beyond that it should be indistinguishable.
I'll look at the date again. The drive isn't bad at all just have to see if I can swing it with everything else on my plate. Would be nice for sure though!
