Thank you sir! Well considering this one is 3 years and 120,000 miles newer, with factory e-locker and 4.30 gears, it's better than ever :banana:
Most of this has just been plain work to me because I'm just ready to be back where I finished the last. Interior and engine swap are going to really get me back into this thing.
Word is he's trying to rejoin the ranks as well..

I had to get caught up on the last few pages, interesting direction choice. I must say I approve 100% (not that that matters).
Every build on here has been targeted at either offroad, overland, or winning the high school parking lot contest. So you go Weston, make a new path.

Couldn't have put the words better myself for a multipurpose rig that looks badass inside and out. Anytime you can make outdoor toys more comfortable to operate is always a welcome bonus.

This is the Tacoma snorkel. Not sure what's up with the 3rd gen specific but I have zero complaints about the fit of this one so no need to wait.
You know how I can tell this place has grown? Because I post a beginning picture in the morning and by the time I'm ready to update I'm halfway down page 2 haha.
So snorkel and intake are complete, more or less. I want to cut the intake a little more because my 90° flex coupler attached to the outlet is slightly pinched. But I took this for a little spin and DAMN this thing roars. I love the growl from the snorkel and this thing has gotta be 1.5x louder than my last. It seems like the air is flowing as great as I could have hoped. I will do my best to get a video later.

Three different sawzall jobs to get this thing the right length. Had to chop past the back air hose fitting so redrilled, added brass fitting and silicon sealed

Picture didn't come out well but really the far end should ideally be a couple inches to the right, hence the futher intake modding soon.

Wrapped up with reinstalling the fender liner and flare as well as giving it a bath. The sponsors have sent me enough stickers to where I can put them on for individual shoots then remove, but I decided to throw a couple on and I actually like these.
An annoying chain reaction is delaying the ARB install. Right after the lift install I went and got it aligned, and discovered the tie rods could adjust fine but the locking nut wouldn't budge. So instead of letting them slowly slip out of alignment we would tack weld the bolts into place.
So long story short, to put the ARB on I need to crank the coilovers to compensate for the weight. To do that, I need to get it aligned. To do that, I need to replace the tie rods. Maybe there's a way to break the tack weld and retack after adjustment. We'll see but I'm tired of this bumper sitting on my floor. Updates soon probably.

I forgot the evidence was on the table. That was my only one I needed my wits for the hole cut.
I have noticed a definite improvement over even the stock airbox. May be a little uneven judgement because I'm not sure how dirty the K&N cone filter was when I removed it, but this thing has definitely got a little more pep in its step. Also I had an issue hanging up on second gear in the mornings and it's been shifting perfectly since. The sound is just as awesome in my opinion, I never get tired of that noise.
