I like to paint the high beam yellow. There is some kind of paint that works and still give it full functionality. Even tho a good tinted yellow bulb makes the reflector bowl glow.

Interesting idea, I thought about color matching it but I'm just gonna leave it halogen so I have a high beam for the daytime and don't need to ride around with the lows on.
I have to say after seeing the output last night for the first time I am incredibly impressed.

looks good, i gave up on the white output of the cbi, even though it gave a intense cutoff, the light washes out on wet pavement. now with the svs its alot of light on all types of pavement, i think the new ones are called nightbreaker.

Congrats! Light output is insanely good on the LS projectors. I almost got those.
I have the CBI bulbs on my 4R and SVS bulbs (nightbreakers) on my Civic (RX projectors). Honestly, I like the CBIs better, even in the wet. I know the SVS's color is supposed to be better in the wet, so...........:noidea: On the high beams, I'm seriously thinking of giving vLed's headlight LEDs a try (link: 9005 9145 H10 HB3 5K MT-G2 3000LM LED HEADLIGHT FOG LIGHT DRL HIGH BEAM | 1 PAIR ).
I thinking of starting over with my Civic's retros. They are becoming very oxidized (stock plastic lens), AND Lightwerkz screwed up the alignment when they were made. My high beams shoot noticeable upward. I brought that to the owners attention (Cesar) and his response was "oh, sorry about that". Needless to say, he lost me as a customer forever. I may or maynot try my hand at doing a retro and save big $$$.

EDIT: After Lightwerkz saw this, they got in contact with me. They wanted to correct the problem. I was honestly floored they wanted to correct an issue after so much time had passed. Anyway, I sent them back and they returned to me PERFECT. Alignment was spot on and it was even tweaked (They did something optically, I not sure what) for better performance. Anyway, they are brighter and I couldn't be happier. This says a lot about this company. So, Caesar has me back. Guy cares about his customers.
TRUE STORY: I had my Civic in for inspection and the Honda tech noticed my retros. When I came to pick up the car, he asked me about them. Nervous, I told him and he responded by saying, "I normally fail aftermarket lights, but these were so nicely put together and the cut-offs were so sharp, I couldn't fail ya."

Drool. The pattern on those is awesome. If I could do it again I'd have done the mini ds2 3.0 but I'm happy with these.

Yes, it's bright, with your setup and proper tuning from the projectors, it'll will wash everyone's light on the road,on your going to light the road up like a beast, I always have to take the lead on a dark road since I can see better than non hid/retrofit setup on everyone else's car. 55watts with cbi is going to look like highs on to some people so make sure a good aim is performed, 3 inch drop at 25ft is good on the 4runner, 2.5 will make the cutoff at everyone's side mirror, it make them think your a cop flashing lights. My co worker said that to me when I try to explain color flicker.

Swap the bulbs around, have you seen what the svs looks like on the road in the 4runner yet? Tl projectors is better than the rx. I think some yellow highs will work for you guys, u guys have snow up there.

Do it zopperman, with the skills you have, u might be able to do the ls430, you have a Dremel and jb weld right.

Should've tried that when my nightbreaker bulbs came in before I installed them on my Civic. To get at bulbs, you have to completely take out the bumper. Oh well, next time. At the time I got my Civic retro'ed, nothing else really fit. I may try RX350 projectors, heard good things about them.

I just had a spare set of TL refurbished (solenoids were fried) by someone on Hidplanet.com. They've been repaired and tuned. Anyway, it's motivating me to have them redone by Cesaer. If I had to do it all again, I would've gotten those LS projectors................

Wow... where to start? Well I did install them, last week. But I had to put the FXRs back in. Due to choosing the "LS460 specialist" from TRS, this project has been the absolute worst C-F imaginable. His lousy packaging led to broken headlights in shipping, which he then repaired. Then, after I installed them the projectors were mounted so high, the adjusting screw couldn't bring them down far enough. That's the very short version.
I am sooooo very sorry I didn't listen to that little voice and use Lightwerkz. They have done two perfect retrofits for me. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Oh, the LS460s are phenominal lights, sadly they are useless as is. I have no idea what I'm doing from here. I want to hold the retrofitter's feet to the fire, but I have no power, plus I want nothing further to do with him. Ugh.
