Missing Remote Start Key Fob?

I've been dormant for some time here however just last week I picked up a new (to me) 2014 Trail.

The dealer I purchased the vehicle from had no record of a remote start being installed in the vehicle however I was able to track down a service order via Toyota Owners Official Web Site which stated a remote start was installed Dec. 2015. Additionally, I've noticed the (what appears to be) remote start antenna mounted near my rear view mirror.

I contacted the dealer who was listed as the installer and they informed me they install Automate remote starters but were of little help after that. I've tried a number of different key sequences on the factory key fob but with no luck.

My questions are as follows:
1. Does anyone know if the Automate remote starters are integrated with the factory fob?

2. Is it possible to reprogram a replacement fob without any sort of special equipment?

3. Where is the remote start module typically located? Any sort of on/off switch with these things?

Did a quick search, http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/90967-factory-auto-start-after-market-2.html , on post #17 (second from the top), and it infers that its a separate remote from the key fob. Your best bet is to try to find the model number of the starter and call the manufacturer to purchase the remotes and for programming instructions. The starter module should be located some where under the drivers side dash behind the panel.
