Hit up Bull Canyon and Gemini Bridges this morning. Quite an awesome 1.5-2 hr trail just north of Moab.
Next we are headed to the local swimming hole. Pics once I get back!

Sorry I missed you guys. We started the triple threat Friday morning. Half way through the second trail my uncle busted the ouyput shaft on his t-case (Jeep) before you say haha let me finish. Limped off the trail backwords. 9:30 my other uncle grabbed us for a night run on the pickle. Well that put me in a pickle.
Broken output shaft on my t-case. What a way to end my week. Needless to say I didn't get to hook up with you guys on Saturday.
I will post pics from the triple threat tonight.

Just got back myself, unpacked and showered.
The death metal till 130 am Friday was the only thing I didn't really get into camping at BFE the entire time, other than that it was fine.
BUT, I did only get to see a small number of T4R people! Was great fun running with Matt and Brian.
If we go next year we should plan our end better, maybe all camp at sand flats, have a known CB channel to talk on etc
Will be going through some pics and video later tonight...

I mostly went around by myself on the easier trails feeling out the area and my new truck. Nothing super fantastic
but I had a great time

So a couple days before the trip I bought a group 31 battery for the truck, but I didn't have enough time with everything else to get ready to make a mounting bracket for it.
Then at the raffle, there was a stainless group 31 battery cage up for raffle by odd chance! And it was one you could specifically chose to be drawn on, so I put 6 tickets on it which gave me /at least/ a 50/50 chance of winning it.
It was also just a day after my birthday. It would have been so perfect if I had won it. It seemed like destiny! I had to win it!!

No problem with noise at BFE here. We had earplugs.
I am kinda of bummed we didn't see that many of these other 3rd gens while there. I felt like all I saw was Tacomas the whole time.

I had a good excuse. I was planning on heading to BFE Saturday mourn to meet up but my uncle decided on a night run that I didn't finish.

I can't speak for the BFE area near Moab, as I've never stayed there.
But back in the 80's I heard the term BFE a lot. It stood for "Bum F**k Egypt". Which was a way of saying 'the middle of nowhere'.

Well it was definitely fun and glad I got to meet you guys. I am unfortunately not gonna be making it back to Moab for almost two years. Have a severe need to make my rig a lot more capable. But here is a few from the trip:
