Moab week of APRIL 25TH

Heading to Moab the week of April 25th to try out my new ARB rear locker! Would love to do some trails with folks here, anyone else wheeling that week?

I've done research on the trails, what about backcountry camping? I try to steer clear of the motorhomes! What's you favorite camping spot?

I'll be in the area on the weekends. If you have decent cool weather camping gear, I would recommend camping up in the La Sals to avoid the crowds.

Basically, the further away from town you go in any direction the camp grounds and dispersed camping thin out. Lockhart basin is a good area for dispersed camping that the Moab side of keeps most of the riffraff away.

Big event that week through the next for Toyota's my dad goes to it every year. His rig is a pure rock crawler (I told him he doesn't get to call it a toyota anymore after more in the front end than my 4runner cost total..).
