More stylish: Front vent visors, front and rear, rear, or none?

My vote is front and rear OR none.

Someone in my neighborhood has front and rear visors which go in the window track, I think they look great.
 
It's all or nothing in my opinion.

Having one or the other looks terrible.

I also think having the in-channel ones look better than the stick on kind.
 
Not a fan of the 'stickies'. I possibly wouldn't mind the in channel ones, but they seems to create an issue as well.
 
ive heard that if the in channel ones are ever removed, the window doesnt seal as well because the trim is stretched out on top, & it causes a kind of whistling noise. so i opted for the stick ons. i do agree that the in channel look better tho .either way, do both the front & rear, not just one or the other.

I was in a debate of getting the inchannel o the sticky but after looking around noticed the inchannel looks better so I'm going with those ...it looks cleaner.
 
Both - and I am going to get the dark tinit for my '08. I was just looking at them this morning online and ordered the Weathertech, in channel.

The only "issue" I saw (in customer reviews) was one customer mentioned it increased wind noise. Can anyone else here verify/debunk that?

Once installed, I never took mine out so I can't comment on the noise... why would you take them out anyway?

From what I remember with my Jeep (I don't have visors on my 4R), there was slightly more noise with the windows up. Windows down... well noise is to be expected :driving:

That said, the benefit of being able to crack the windows on hot days to let the car cool a bit as well as the benefit of be being able to crack the windows in the rain w/o having water run into the car far outweighs the slight increase in road noise!
 
well, as the voting shows, some just dont like them, or maybe one breaks, or is lost, & instead of buying a whole set to replace it, you remove all of them, the car is sold & that person doesnt care for them, etc. those are some reasons for removal. it may not be a issue in a somewhat new vec. but maybe over a few years , 5 or more. but like i said ,i like the inchannel & they do look cleaner, hey, its your vec. do what appeals to you.
 
I prefer the look of the in-channel but there are rare instances where they can rattle,have been reported to fall out and cause an issue with the auto up windows and some problems with window seals but none are common but they can happen after a year or two or 5.

I went with the stick-on ones since the only issue with them might be with the tape get a little less sticky at a corner or two but after 4 years with my AVS ones there is a slight pulling up of the tape on the driver's side window right by the mirror but it's not like it's going anywhere and the rest look like I just installed them.

Increased wind noise? Maybe a little - but not much. With the WeatherTech in-channel visors, I have less noise than on my Tundra which has the stick-on AVS brand (in-channels are slimmer/stick out less - create less noise). Visors in general will likely cause a tad more noise than a visorless car/truck. But that's with windows up. The visors actually deflect some side wind when the windows are rolled down/partically rolled down - so to me, the wind noise in that situation was less.

I have these same visors on my '03 Trailblazer, the wife's '07 Monte Carlo SS, and am about to peel the AVS stick-on visors off my '00 Tundra (they're about to fall off anyway, all the tape is failing) and put some WeatherTechs on it too.

You are right about them not looking as clean, but I tried the in channel ones and my window wouldn't go up.

Another thing, why are all these people saying no to window visors? The truck might not look as good, but I can tell you it is so nice to leave your windows cracked during the summer to keep heat down. If someone is looking at window visors then obviously they are going to use them, whether it is for smoking when it is raining or whatever.
