Last week I saw a 2016 SR5 Premium at a dealer with running boards that looked factory installed (looked like they belonged), and I thought looked great. They looked durable, and had a chrome strip along the length of the outside edge.
Today at another dealer I saw what looked like a slimmer, more generic looking running board on two 2016 Trail models. If I saw it on the road, I would have guessed they opted for an aftermarket product.
Are there different running boards for the different models? Or is the type of running board something you have to specify, to make sure you get the right one from the factory?
