Most badass 4runner

New to tfr,s. Whats wrong with bolt on ? Or should i ask what is bolt on?

Nothing wrong with bolt-on stuff. My rig is basically the definition of that. What people are saying in this thread is that there's a sentiment that if you're going to talk about the most "badass" 4Runner, that it would be one where the owner has done a lot of custom work to it and not one that just has a bunch of stuff that the owner bought for it.

Nothing wrong with it... Many many good modifications are bolt on... suspension, bumpers, roof racks.

My sliders were bolt on, until I decided to weld it to my frame. It wasn't required, but doing so increases strength and its tolerance for abuse.

Some modifications are not bolt on... but those are generally reserved for the more extreme users.

Bolt on $hit? check . Bad ass? check. Mine? check

Show off!

Your 4Runner makes me want to go back to an old SAS Hilux.

@4runningmutts on IG has an SAS 5th gen on 40s in the works. Wont be the first cause of RSG but still crazy. A TRD Pro no less. I thought his previous LT setup on 35s was wild enough.

Man, the 5th gens look SOOOO much better without that front bumper. I really don't care for the 5th Gen's appearance typically, but man...these builds are making me rethink that.

This has to be the best-looking 5th gen I've ever seen! Dammit, now I want to SAS a 5th gen! Thanks, Motory! I can't unsee that gorgeous work of art!

RSG's T40R build just seems to be on a different level. At their last open house, they decided to smoke the 40s on it since they needed a new set, and that supercharged 5.7 just sounds mean.
