Moved to Seattle

Welcome to the area! Though I am not a trail driving fan, I have enjoyed some cross country and canyon jaunts around the west coast. Due to the military job, I rarely get to do group things, but because of the military I have done some fun rides like the Rawhide Mining trails down past Fallon Nevada and a couple through Yellowstone.
 
What's good this time of year for beautiful scenery that's also pretty easy on the new truck? Would love to join the group one of these days if you'll have me. I have a land cruiser and new to this stuff. Many thanks.
 
Welcome to the area!! Getting together sometime next year for a group run sounds great!! I have been up here for 4 years and have not been able to get out and do some trails. I am new to doing trails and I think it would be a great experience!
 
I would suggest meeting for a "Cars and Coffee" style meet up, but we're all pretty spread out so I don't know if that would work, since people are spread out as far north as Arlington and Lake Stevens all the way down to Tacoma. I need to put on new tires before I start going running around anywhere too crazy.

A myriad of Weyerhaeuser gate keys are required. I've heard you can request permission to access the land but I doubt it.
