Muddy Altinator

My 89 gen 2 t4r kept goin flat i discovered the altinator was full of mud and was not workin properly. has this happened to anyone else or is it a known problem. If so wat solutions are there.

Killer Water

My gen 2 89 t4r cuts out when i go through deep water i have to wait a minute than it starts any ideas. I don't think its the distributor cause i have taken the cap off and its dry
