That would be pretty sweet Mike, but alas, I am not technically, electrically, or mechanically inclined in the least which is a bummer.
I called a week ago and was told 1-2 weeks, again. It seems that no one knows or Metra keeps giving BS ETAs. The guy at Metra I'm keeping in touch with seems extremely helpful and nice, so I don't think he's feeding me BS. He said they're very backordered and it shouldn't be too much longer. I'll keep updating the dash kit status in my signature so that anyone that's interested can follow along easily by just finding one of my posts.

Camera to LCD
How did you connect the Camera feed? Is there a connector if so what type? I have a 7in LCD I would like to use for my limited for Camera and NAV it has a 3.5mm AV input.

It drives me crazy that I can hardly read the display on the stock head unit (non-nav) when there is any sunshine at all. Can't read the clock either...not at all when I have sunglasses on.
Since you already have the Pinoneer installed, how's the brightness of the display? Can you read it ok when sunny?

Really diggin the Toyota Nav... whereas it works pretty much like the version my Lexus, it handles voice commands a lot better and I can enter a destination verbally. I have yet to repeat a command.

The install shop was skeptical that they could hook it up, but as far as I know they just rewired it to make it work so I'm not sure what kind of connector they used. If you're curious, call BJ at Discount Auto Sound on Virginia Beach Blvd in VA Beach VA and ask him.
I would have to say no as of this moment. This is because there is no dash kit to provide any sort of cover from the sides. Also, without the dash kit, the unit sticks out further and this makes visibility worse. I also have yet to play around with it to see if there is any sort of brightness control so I can't speak with 100% certainty about this.
Will let you know once I get that dog-gone kit!
Also, I have started the "interior silver-to-matte-black conversion" project and will try to put up pics when I get a chance.
Really interested in seeing pics. I'm really tempted to plasti-dip the lower IP on the driver's side and the glove compartment on the passenger side. That is the only part of the interior that I don't like.

I assume the Pioneer has brightness control....let me know if that helps the visability. This stock screen is getting more annoying by the day.....I don't see any brightness control, but still need to check the manual.

Also, I'm considering General Grabbers for my next tire, after a Body Lift. How do you like yours? do they do well in all conditions? I know the ratings were good, right up there with the Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2's (my long time favorite).

dif in pioneer avic x920b and z 120bt
I am trying to figure out what navi, dvd player to get. The x9140 is about 250 bucks cheaper than the z120bt..it looks like the z is a little bigger screen, 6.1 vs 7 are there other differences? I am trying to look at spec sheets, and nto seeing much else. Will they both fit my 2011 sr5?
