Love it man, How much did those tires run you for x4?

I do a bit of HW, prolly more than city. I drove it to meet a friend over the weekend, about 45mi each way I guess, at 70mph i was getting 19+ a gal, which amazed me. in town, or if im heavy on the pedal i will see between 14/16. Before the tires I was getting 16/20 so I am pretty happy with the mileage so far. Lift didnt seem to change mileage at all, at least not enough to notice

Would love to get some sliders! A little pricey for me though, I think I will go with a full 3" lift first. Plus, I am a little worried about road debris messing up the rockers. I washed it for the 1st time yesterday with the steps off and was amazed how clean the paint was on the rockers. And if the wife gets knocked up they will have to go back on, she has trouble getting in now that they are off, so we will see.

:thanks: man, very happy with the way it turned out, still haven't ran the coax yet. Did you run it through the trim panel on the lift gate? or just run in out the quarter panel and hook it up once the lift gate is closed?

$680 installed at Pep Boys. Cant beat the price but I wasn't happy with the service, but you get what you pay for. I had to go back a few days later because the tires would not hold air. They didn't replace the valve stems and when the guy replaced them he said they also didn't clean the beads up on the rims so the tires were leaking there too. If you got the $$, go some where else. For my budget though, it worked great and the tires are great.

I ran it along side the left part of the hatch, then at the top where the hatch meets the body theres a rubber drain tube. I ran it into the headliner there and siliconed it so it wouldnt leak. Then I ran it down inside the trim panel behind the back passenger door and into the carpet where I ran it under the carpet all the way to the console. It was a pain.

Ya, I was debating on doing that or, run it to the left rear trim panel where the spare tire crank is located, roll 8-10" up and stash it in there, then just pop open that panel and run it out the lift gate, close the lift gate on the cable and hook it to the antenna. I only plan on using the CB when on trail runs or traveling. I would have to unhook the antenna to open/close the lift gate, but for as little as I think I will use it..... which way do you suggest I go? What was the hardest part/erea for running the coax? Any tricks that could assist me? thanks man

That would def be easier. I ran it up there for full time use in case I upgrade my cb later to one that has weather alerts. During storm season here in the Midwest it would be handy. Plus if you coil the wire up there whenever you do actually use it you'll have cable strung out in your cargo area, not a huge deal. It wasn't too bad the way I did it, just had to pull a few trim panels and some carpet. you'd be doing the hard part by taking it all the way to the console, the easy part was running into the back of the truck, so you might as well do the whole 9 yards, ya know?

jk. I have like 4 buddies that do roofs for a living, and they have yet to come redo mine, lazy ass holes!! We got married last Aug and that was supposed to be our wedding present from my friends,.......

Rubbing isn't that bad at all really, I have been driving it with out any problems. You couldn't parallel park in it
I have a little rubbing on the UCA's at full lock, and a little rubbing on the front fender liner. Waintin on $$ for spacers, and haven't gotten round to moving the liners forward. And yes, spacers only

I have the same 16" wheels on my SR5 and was having some wheel envy issues with the 17" and 18" rims most other 4th gen 4runners have. Thanks for posting the pics, now I am confident that keeping the stock rims and getting more rubber is the way to go! I also have a set of Bilstein 5100s to install all around to allow clearance. Your truck looks pretty badass, I hope to acheive similar results.
