Yeah that looks great, BFG ATs have such a classic look to them. I would make them compensate you to fix the rims though, there should not be any damage to them. I mean, where would the damage even come from?
I would email the pictures to a few shops, get quotes on fixing the wheels, then bring the quote into the shop and tell them you want a refund for that amount. Realistically, not worth the time to sue them, let's be honest, you have better things to do. If that fails, take it up with the credit card company for the amount you were quoted to fix the wheels, and all the work on your end is done.

what is offset of your wheels and size? they are on the back of your rim. I am pretty sure size is 17 x 7.5, but dont know offset. i am going crazy trying to find better wheels for limited, which is tuff given i dont even have it yet (its on order). did you replace the spare wheel also and does it fit?

Nope, it will not fit. The biggest size you can have in the stock spare tire holder is: 265-70-17. If I ever need to run on the spare, I will just disable ALL off the traction control systems while running to the tire store.
The 275 only comes in "E". I was worried about a "harsh" ride but, on the way home it really wasn't much worse than what was on there. Per a recommendation from LWN, I am running 40 psi.

I live in MD and there is no where remotely close to tack in on the trail. So that is a none issue.
I get no rubing, it's close (1/4") but, no rubing. Harper7 and LWN have been running the 275s for a while and both assured me that there would be no rubing if I got them installed. LWN even told me that he has been in some full compression situations with his and there is no rubing with the 275.

What would you like to know? People told me that I would not notice the difference between the 265 and 275 but, you can defiantly tell. It looks much beefier.

It is the TE so it comes like that.
Did you look at the 265 BFG vs. the 275 BFG or are you talking about stock vs. the 275 BFG? If the latter, that's because you are comparing a highway tire to an AT tire that is visibly more aggressive. I rolled a 265 and 275 BFG out and sat them side by side. I couldn't really tell them apart from 5 feet away.

Nope, all I am saying is the comparing what was on there before (stock) to what I have now, you can tell the tires a much wider than the old one.
Perceived power loss, road noise, and how they fit at full compression. I need a tire wheel combo that does not move far away from stock. I want a good comfortable ride on the road.
The balance I'm looking for may be tough to find as I certainly will go off raod. I managed to ding my rocker panels today along with a nice collection of scratches.

It is funny that you should ask about this. The 4Runner didn't come with one. The one that you see is from a 2006 Toyota Tacoma Double-Cab 4x4 (it came with one) that I traded in. I took it off the Tacoma before it was appraised just in case the 4Runner didn't come with one. Glad I did.
BTW, how wimpy is the hitch on our 4Runner? Will that thing really pull 5000 lbs?
