Plenty of room, plenty of power and the guys even said it was more comfortable than the 4th gen. that I had.

The final count was 4 Mallards, 2 Wood Ducks, and 2 Blue Winged Teal. We normally limit on the BWT on the first opener, but we had a hard freeze up here Wed. nite so they must have moved on South to warmer climes. The boys got some shooting, and the dog got some work, so everyone was happy.

Yes, in fact, that is a Pudelpointer. He is Prairie Trouts EZ Rider, AKA "Snoops", a 6 year old male from Bob Farris' Cedarwood Gundogs in Boise, Idaho. And he truley is a hunting machine, but has a kind, and gentle soul.

1. Pudelpointers - do they shed? I have been looking for a versatile dog that meets the wife's requirements of not shedding (very much), and can point and retrieve.

2. Dirt, mud, leather seating? What kind of seat covers did you use, if you used them?

Pudelpointers don't shed, in that they don't grow an under coat in the winter that blows out in massive clumps, although they do lose hair just like any other mammal. Bob Farris is one the, if not thee premier breeder in NA, here is a link to his website.Cedarwood Pudelpointer
My Limited has leather and I don't use seat covers, when you use a vehicle the way I do,it's the only way to go.

He looks a lot like my Pudelpointer. His name is Powell, I got him from High Life in Redmond, Oregon. I have not taken him Duck hunting yet, but he is an awesome upland dog. Great with the kids too. Has Snoops slowed down at all?

It takes him a little longer to get in hunting shape as he gets older, but he hasn't slowed down much at all. With our Pheasant numbers down for the 5th straight year, we spend alot of time waterfowling.

Pheasant numbers in the Dakotas have remained good, but with more and more CRP coming out every year due to corn prices and ethenol subsidies, the future looks bleak. If the current ag practices continue, wild upland bird hunting will become a thing of the past.

The motor is bone stock, I just replaced the Donaldson air cleaner with a foam ATV filter. The full power reverse is AWSOME.
