My 94 Runna!

I'm also in the middle of installing my gear reduction set in my duals. My triple sticks are scheduled to arrive on the 29th after that its driveline time! Then off to do some camping!!!

Well I got the duals all put back together and assembled, and received a box of goodies in the mail!

so I proceeded to install the duals on the W56C tranny that is going to replace my G58.

So because the W56 series of tranny's utilize a forward shift style T-case I won't be able to use the triple sticks as they were originally designed to be used because they interfere too much with the trans shifter. I spoke with Rory at RAdesigns and he said he had a customer totally molest the shifters to make it work but I don't want to bother with all that trouble.

So I opted to use the shifters as a remote set of "Twin Sticks". By using them that way I will still be able to keep my Tuffy console and cupholders! Yahoo!!!! Cupholders!!

Nice build! Wish I could say I built mine but I bought it built. 6500 including a trailer! Couldn't pass that deal. I have No fab skills, no welder, etc. Can turn a wrench like no other though.
This is my rig. 90, sas, 5spd, dual stock cases, locked f/b, interior cage, etc etc......

I use to give guys like you a hard time.....

Not anymore I probably spend too much time working on this thing than I should. I wouldn't mind just wheeling an already to go rig sometimes. Shoot these days guys are darn near giving rigs away! Its kinda sad really.

Yeah so did I. I built a 87 4runner, and a 85 pickup before I bought this. Had a friend do all the welding on them for me. This time around I needed a family rig. I got married. Got a 9 year old step-daughter thats in all kinds of sports, and 15 month old son. A wife that likes to keep me all kinds of busy! So it was just easier to buy something already built. I did have to all kinds of work to it when i got it, but it was mostly turning wrenches.

Well I love the runner but the 4banger is a total dog in mine. It's definitely on it's last leg.

Today I got to work on the tranny tunnel. In order to fit the Radesigns triple sticks you need to have at least 1.5" body lift.

Not being a body lift fan myself, I opted to do some sheet metal work instead. So I got to work raising the tunnel 2" higher than stock to make way for the linkage.

Here's a shot of the progress I made today. I kept track of the clock today and this took me 3 hours so far.

I also made that switch plate today for my ARB and lengthened and relocated the wiring harness for the rear window. I have a Tuffy console so my stereo is going in that.

Well finally got it all installed today, I had to do some more sheet metal work to fit the boots on. I boxed it all in to try to keep as much road noise and exhaust/heat out of the cabin.

I also had to chop up and modify the Radesign triple sticks so they would clear. Ouch!! That's never fun especially when their brand new, but I'm pretty happy so far. I still need to fill the trans and T-cases up and take it for a spin.

Kinda bummed about it but... I sold "My 94 Runna"!

But thats ok I'll build another one someday. I'm switching gears and buying a house on 2 acres in Nor Cal! Woo hoo! Take it easy everybody!
