I just installed the strong arm 6815 and I should of done this a long time ago. These struts are bad ass. I had this truck for 6 yrs and I always assisted lifting the hatch to the highest point. It started sagging once I let it go. That’s why I pulled the trigger on them.

After I installed the struts, I go to close the hatch and I literally had to use force to close it. Before I just use one finger to close it. I’m stoked. [emoji1686]

Same here! Just installed mine last week. Use to pull the latch to open my hatch and it would pop open an inch and I had to lift the rest myself. Now I have to move out of the way quick or it's going to take me up with it. Getting it ready for the ladder ill be installing soon.

Yah the 1st time I opened it, I was standing to close and it hit me out of the way. Sadly I fell down cuz I tripped over the blocks on the ground for holding up my painters pole. [emoji23]

The tracks I used was aftermarket made by Corbeau for our 3rd gen 4runner’s. All I did was drilled holes on the cross bars to mate the stock seat holes to match. Stock brackets don’t have cross bars on them, so you would need to weld it on. I already had the set from Corbeau when I bought the Seats. I used the Corbeau seats in another truck I had and still had the brackets

Who said you can’t wheel on pavement? Well on a serious note. Some idiot crossed the solid line while we were both taking a L turn and the result is me climbing up hiz passengers fender and on his tire. I think my tie rod iz bent and my rack is toast. The seal of the rack by the steering linkage iz pouring out fluid after the hit and my steering wheel iz turned 5 degrees to the passenger side. It was dead on straight before the hit.

So I got my truck back 2 days ago because the body shop gave my estimate to the insurance company and stated that my front lower cross member was bent. I picked it up Monday at 10am and drove it back home because I told the insurance company I’m not giving my truck to them. I grab my creeper and slide under the truck. Looking for damage on the cross member and I see nothing. I call the body shop and ask them if he had taken pictures of the damage and he sends me 3 pictures. Can any of you 4runner people tell me where in the pictures do you see the damages on the front lower cross member?
