My Review of a Baja Voodoo Rack

Baja Voodoo Rack **New mounts**

**Updated with new feet**

I purchased the BV - UNIV - B250 -TR Seen Here. I bought this because both the HID and LED versions both had a large front spot for lights that I didnt like. They can all be seen at the link.

I hated how this install was and was embarrassed to have it on the car.

Thanks to [MENTION=68079]drabbits[/MENTION] at Camelback Metal Gear we fixed this Rack the way it should be. He was an awesome guy and took time out of his busy day to help me. We welded a plate to the rack that mounted up to the feet for his rack.He also cut a portion of the rear center bar to allow clearance for the shark fin. It came out better than expected and looks waaaaaay better. It needs to be painted and have another hole drilled when I have more time.

I like the price but not sure about how it mounts up... and those welds look amateur.

I've been itching to get a rack but I dont know if this is going to be the answer.

After subscribing to the buy once cry once and the get what you pay for deals... my life has been a lot better, but ive just been flat broke lol.

Didn't read any of that, but damn those are some ugly ass welds. Look like my welds.

That's where I'm at. I'm going to get u bolts tomorrow to change the mounts. If I can salvage it I would be happy. :shrug:

By looking at the rack's size I would remove the whole factory rack and crossbars and see if I could fabricate something to do a direct mount. It might lower the rack enough to get rid of most of the noise when empty... I would also fabricate or buy some type of wind fairing for the front, that would also help with the noise....

It's hard to see the 4Runner and rack with such a beautiful house and yard!

Updated with new feet that were honestly super embarrassing. Wind noise is still there but not as bad as before. ill be making a fairing this weekend.
