Been so on the fence the past few days about just pulling the trigger on this kit... What makes you think you're gonna need UCAs? Cause I'm still debating just getting some springs and the 5100s separate to save some $$$.

Because this is the same set I ran on my previous 4Runner and the tire size and wheel offset is very similar to what I had on the previous one as well.
Toytec makes great products and they're really great to work with.

Do you know what your offset is? I'm trying to avoid wheel spacers if I can.
 
I had my eyes on those wheels when I came across my BFD's for a price I couldn't say no to, they look great. Also curious how the STT Pros do. I just got a set of K02 but its never too early to start planning what's next :hungry:
 
Thank you! I'm curious too. I really have liked the Coopers; had Zion's before. So I'll be sure to post on how these do in different road and weather conditions.
Always a good idea to have something in back of mind for a next project :)

Have to admit, it feels quite weird seeing it in black. So used to my white one that I'm not quite use to it.

lol you never know! I'm always searching around craigslist for good deals!

Welcome back and looks like you picked out a nice second 4Runner. Black is my favorite second to Red Salsa Pearl and I love the look you have going on with the upgrade on wheels, tires and lift.
Just wondering, why did you ever get rid of your white 4Runner? That was a sweet build you did and it looked good. Have fun with your latest edition:surfer:

It's a great question. One that I still ask myself today. A huge mistake, really.
Towards the end I really started to second guess a lot of things. My age was the biggest factor. I felt too old to be driving something so 'cool'. Then I started thinking about how I can't find a lot of free time to go offroading (maybe once a year), and the recent accident and the mileage and the lack of space in the driveway blah blah blah

I sold it in October to [MENTION=132270]Maxweiner[/MENTION] I couldn't have gotten a better owner. He takes such great care of it.
As winter passed, I realized that was when I enjoyed it most. Playing in the snow isn't offroading, but it was fun! I really started to miss it. Made me realize that I'm not too old for anything! It provides me with a lot of joy and all of the other things are just petty.
So the search started for a new one since I couldn't talk Guy into giving mine back :)

Your never too old to enjoy owning and driving a 4Runner! I'm 46 and bought mine 5 years ago and just started modifying it last year and plan on keeping it for a very long time. Enjoy your new 4Runner and have fun with your modifications.
