Navigating in Canada will take some getting used to. First, all the voice directions will end with "eh". Second, no matter where you set the destination to in the nav system it'll direct you to a cold beer store or hockey rink. Also your vehicle icon on the screen will change colours to a nice red lumberjack plaid. Please remember that all speed limit signs are in km/h and not mph.

You can also download offline maps for use with your cellphone so it does not need data access but can still use the gps.
