Need Bullbar

Hey all! I'm looking at purchasing a black bullbar for my 1997 toyota 4runner. I want something that's decent quality but reasonably priced. I've seen several on eBay including hunter works and have heard westin with built in skid plate is a good option, I think burtman industries carries them but ther almost 300.00. Can anyone confirm if the ebay or hunter works brands are any good for the price and if they come with a skid plate? I do not want to go with a brand that would do away with the factory skid underneath. Any insight to help make this decision easy is appreciated. Thx

None of them will provide protection from more than a stray garbage can, and an empty one at that. Those things are pretty much all made for looks with thin wall tubing and all are mounted way down low. Any impact above the mount puts a ton leverage on the mount. Like it or not, the only way to get front end protection is aftermarket bumpers. If you're after the look, pick your favorite one as their all pretty much the same.
