Need help and thoughts why 4 runner might be sitting lower on drive side???

I just noticed today that my 4 runner seems to be sitting lower on drive side. It appers that on driver side is setting lower or passanger side is sitting higher? I had (2.5) leveling kit installed upfront and (1.5) rear leveling kit on the back. It appers to be sitting lower on drivers side and don't no if normal or even if is as my eyes might be making think it is sitting lower?

I am now running the above leveling kit/ lift kit with 275/70/17 BFG A/T. As stated it appers to be setting lower on that side? Has anyone had this problem or has this if so what has caused it or might causing it? I am ruining 45psi in all the tires so that the cause. The only thing I think of is the gas tank is on that side which adds weight but the tank tonight might have 5 gallons of gas in it? The kits where installedc by local professional that has done work for me in the past.

Is there something that I can measure to see if true or just eyes? It has been riding fine. I did notice after the tires were installed that the driver side was the only only one that rubbing a little mud flat but have taken then off to stop the problem. I had it alligned the other day and no one said anything about it other then the tow end/out was a little off which was corrected which helping performance and steering but just don't no if It common issue or if there is something wrong? Any help would be great.

Common problem with 4th and 5th gens. Nothing is wrong so don't worry.

Toyota lean. Fuel tank and battery are on the driver's side.

Every Toyota I have owned for the past 20 years leans to the left.

Also, the driver is on the driver's side.... in my case it's an additional 200 LBS on that side when I drive it.

Ok that's what I was thinking but just wanting to ask as no one was sitting in it and had maybe 25% of gas in the tank. Don't guess I every paid that much attention untill yesterday.

Just get a spacer to even it out. I just installed a spacer above the rear left spring.

It all depends on how I park. If I turn RIGHT into a parking spot the 4Runner leans to the left, but if I turn LEFT into a parking spot it leans to the right. It's worse in both cases if I don't straighten the front wheels.

If I pull straight into my garage it sits level.

I gave up worrying about it a long time ago.

Same here. Had it checked out and everything was good. Will level it out when I get some dough for coil overs.

As long as it is normal I want worry about it. Just thought that since the front and rear have leveling kit/lift that it would it offest it. I have owned a lot of toyotas over the years including my tundra now but this is my first 4-runner so was curious. To a OCD PERSON this is east to see. But again if normal then will alone as I already spent $$$ money getting it the way it sets now and the tires.

I think I read in the FSM that up to ~.75" of lean is considered "normal" according to Toyota, so definitely no need to worry about it unless you are OCD. And if you are OCD, hide your tape measures

I used the 10mm FJ REAR spacer from ToyTec (installed along with the 5100's). Got me pretty close to level. I also bought the 1/4" FRONT spacer, but didn't need to install it.

I can't stand vehicles that lean or don't track 100% straight!

My wife never even noticed it till I pointed it out to her. That's the OCD in me. I just thought something was wrong but as many have posted its normal for it to set like that on drivers side. Oh well will leave alone for now as I spent so much $ on upgrades to a new suv already.

The Strange thing is that once new tires were own only the drivers side little mud flat was making just a little contact with the tire but only on that side noticed it on a recent trip on vacation. Pulled over removed both and all was real. Once back took to a trusted aligment shop that doesn't use a computer but does it old fashion and he really aligned it right now it drives so much better and almost fixed the problems with the tire rubbing on the front little mud flap but was still making contact at steering turned all the way.

I guess it due to the same thing with the lean/weight on that side of the 4 runner? Guess is something that I will have to leave with no little mud flats which shouldn't be a problem as it want ever see off road.
