Need some advice on spacers.

Hello, I need some help to buy spacers for my truck.

2011 Trail Edition, I searched the net but I don't want to order something that I know little about.

If someone can give me a name and size I Need that will fit on the TE.

Like I said I have looked on the internet but haven't found nothing specific for the TE 2011. It looks fairly easy to instal I just need to get the right parts.

What type of spacers? Wheel spacers? or Suspension Spacers? If it is suspension don't do it. Get a real suspension underneath that TE!!!

Just my opinion do it right once and be happy!

+1 on this. Suspension spacers would be a big no.

If it is wheel spacers (and that is a big debate as well) I run 1.25" SpiderTrax on my TE, have had them on for about 20,000 miles, no troubles at all. If you are going to run wheel spacers though you would need to consider what wheels you are running, and if you plan on switching them. And also tires...as pushing the wheel/tire "out" will give you some rubbing if you plan on going up in tire size.

Having said all that I am running SpiderTrax, and if you are going to run them I would run the best you could get...which in my OPINION SpiderTrax are. With the stock TE wheel and a 275/70R17 BFG A/T I think it makes the stance perfect...this is the way this truck should have shipped from the factory. Plus you can sell SpiderTrax way on down the road for almost as much as you have in them, they seem to have great resale values.
 
Last week, I had SpriderTrax 1.25" spacers installed on my TE. I am running 285 70R17 xtreme MT's on stock rims and Icon Stage 5. The spacers were recommended by 4WP and the improvement to the ride and handling of my truck is very noticeable. The increased track has eliminated the tramlining and the feeling of "tippiness" that I experienced when going to the larger MT tires. So, the spacers not only improve the looks of my truck, more importantly, they also improve the performance and driveability.
 
don't go for just the rings, those leave you with too little stud threads. Don't cheap out on the spacers... and at least here, wheel spacers are not legal, however wheel adapters ARE. my solution for this is to change the bolt pattern slightly with an adapter. then its legal.
 
People often refer to wheel adapters as spacers, but technically they are two different things. I've used both Spidertrax and All-Pro wheel adapters and both have been great. Just make sure you purchase the hub-centric units and you'll be ok. For added security, get ET lugs for the adapters.

As another member mentioned, this looks great with the stock wheels to give it a wider stance. With most aftermarket wheels, you will not need to add them.
 
I'm sorry, yes wheel spacers. I will lift it up properly later.

I want that TRD air intake before also.

Ordered my SpiderTrax last Friday :) I know I said I would post pics of the truck but didn't have time with work/family and lost my phone with all the good pics I had on it :/

Can't wait to put them on and see how more badass the truck will look after.

Will also take some time and put all the mods the truck has on it. Bought a Demo 2011 TE with a ton of extras on it only 2k miles on it when I drove out the dealership.
 
Wait, what ? Why do you say that ? Oh I posted 2 times. Sorry. I guess I was to anxious and impatient to get them.
