Need some quick input-Left vs. Right Springs?

Just tell them to set the springs up next to each other, taller one goes on the drivers side. It isn't a huge difference, but one is noticeably taller. I know the green/gray is on the passenger side, so I believe you are right on the colors.

so i finally got around to ripping out my XREAS. One of them started leaking about 3-4 months ago and by the time I had the shop take a look today, 3 of 4 were leaking so I took all of them out. I do have some questions:

1. When I picked up my car today, I noticed they didn't install my fj front coils. They told me the thickness of the coils are the same so they didn't bother changing it out. I wasn't clear when I dropped off the car that I want the coils installed for the additional height. I didn't want to be difficult since I knew the owner and I don't REALLY need the height. Other than the 2" height, should I be worried about having the Tokico struts working with the runner's original front coils? are they really the same thickness? i don't want the new fj front struts go out sooner because the runner front coils are thinner.

2. On the service record, they said they changed out the rear coils. i remember someone mentioned the fj rear coils are thicker than the runner one. the ones i have on hand have purple paint on them. Does that mean they're runner rear coils? i don't remember seeing paint code on the fj ones before I brought the car in.

3. Assuming I have the runner coil + fj struts in the front and fj coil + fj shocks in the back, do i have anything to worry about the set up?

since I was driving around with the badly leaking suspension, i must say i'm happy with the way the car drives now. let me know what you guys think and if there is anything else i should do. i'll save the fj front coils for the future when i have to change out the struts/shocks again... THANK!

It won't hurt anything by not using the FJ front coils, but I'd really recommend it. They improved the ride a lot on mine, and that alone was worth it. I had a shop tell me the same thing, that there wasn't a difference in the springs. It's very hard to visually see the difference. The front FJ springs are slightly taller, and they are a stiffer coil, so they don't sag as much when intalled (thus providing the lift).

now i'm tempted to tell them to put the coil back on for free :( don't know what to do.......

i wonder if there is a difference between my 06 sports front coils vs. your 03 limited front coils. the ride still seems pretty firm to me. does anyone know?

and if i have a purple paint code on my back coils, does that mean they're runner ones not fj ones?
